Prophetic Dream 25th April 2023
I received this dream following several days of intense heaviness, during which time God had given me specific instruction.
"Take up your mantle, O child of Mine.
For I have made you holy, I have anointed you in My Name.
Now go and seek for the Kingdom, for in it you will find your treasure."
Period Leading Up To This
I had several business ventures I had been wanting to work on for years, and I had also been wanting to get my Prophetic Encounters out to people.
I was feeling overwhelmed and over-burdened at the mountain of work I had before me and I didn't know where to begin.
I realised that I had reached a point in my life where my old ways of both doing and being no longer worked, and I felt powerless and empty.
In truth, they had never really worked, the yoke was hard and the burden was heavy, and I achieved things mostly through force.
New Wine Being Poured
I realised that I just couldn't do it anymore, I didn't want to, and more than that, I wasn't in alignment with the new ways I was being shown.
Furthermore, it occurred to me that not taking up my mantle was akin to Jonah, who spent 3 days in darkness having been swallowed by the whale, because he didn't want to step into his destiny.
I asked God to tell me what my mantle was and where to begin, and the following day, I received the answer in this dream, in a way that blew me away in its uniqueness, as only God can and always does!
After this dream, it was immediately clear to me what my mantle was, and that God had already prepared the way for me.
God is amazing...!
My Dream
I had been invited by a beautiful man to an exclusive VIP event at Koinonia.
I was half-way through listening to his voice note on my phone and had put it aside for later, as I hadn't yet had the time to listen in full.
My favourite boss from one of my first jobs, Theresa, was speaking to someone on the phone and I noticed that she was upset as she thought she hadn't been invited.
Immediately, I signalled to her that we had been invited and I showed her my phone with the half-listened to voice note.
When she realised that we had indeed been invited, she was overjoyed and Theresa, my work colleagues and I were on our way!
We had to go in the same clothes we had been wearing all day and I hoped that no-one would notice, but I knew that the beautiful man we were meeting would and I didn't have time to change.
I told everyone that next time we go out after work, we must have time to shower and change first, so we could be clean and fresh.
We stopped off for dinner and I was seated on the front row next to someone who I had a challenging relationship with and was trying to make peace, we were aligning.
When I awoke, I wanted to go back to sleep to spend more time with this beautiful man so that I could get to know him better.
Instinctively, I knew that this beautiful man was Jesus.
You Are Invited to Koinonia!
Shortly after waking, I remembered the strange word from my dream - koinonia, and I looked up it's meaning.
Koinonia is a Greek word which refers to concepts such as fellowship, community, partnership, sharing and intimacy.
We can be in koinonia in both a positive and negative way, fellowshipping with darkness, sin and destruction, as well as light, righteousness and creation.
In it's deepest and purest sense, koinonia is the total immersion and idealised state of fellowship, communion and unity between man and God.
To really understand the unchartered depths of this ancient, mystical and magical word, we must look to the scriptures for examples.
Koinonia with the Divine Nature
We may participate in the divine nature through faith, grace, peace and the knowledge of God and of Jesus, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires (2 Peter 1:4).
We can be united with Christ by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind (Philippians 2:1-2).
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made and without him nothing was made that has been made (John 1:1-3).
Koinonia with the Father, Son & Holy Spirit
The apostles proclaimed that they had seen and heard the appearance of the Word of life (Jesus), so that we also may have fellowship.
And their fellowship was with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ (1 John 1:3) and God has called us into fellowship with his Son (1 Corinthians 1:9).
By sharing the gospel, we may share in its blessings (1 Corinthians 9:23).
Koinonia with Suffering
If we want to know Jesus, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, we can become like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead (Philippians 3:10).
We can be in koinonia with another person by sharing in their troubles (Philippians 4:14).
Standing side by side with those who are publicly exposed to insult and persecution, we enter into koinonia with them (Hebrews 10:33).
Koinonia with Teaching, Fellowship & Prayer
By devoting ourselves to teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer, we are in koinonia with Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:42).
Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ?
And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ? (1 Corinthians 10:16).
Koinonia with One Another, Good Deeds, Grace & Faith
If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin (1 John 1:7).
We have koinonia with one another by sharing in God's grace (Philippians 1:7), by doing good and sharing with others (Hebrews 13:16) and by partnering in the faith (Philemon 1:6).
Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death - that is, the devil - and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death (Hebrews 2:14).
Koinonia with Wickedness, Darkness, Demons & Sin
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14).
We are to have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them (Ephesians 5:11) and we are not share in the sins of others (1 Timothy 5:22).
The sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and we are not be participants with demons (1 Corinthians 10:20).
Stepping Into Koinonia With Righteousness
We are invited into koinonia with God the Father, His Son and the Holy Spirit, to fellowship with righteousness, holiness and the promise of what is to come.
But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17).
Stepping into koinonia with God is a practice that requires patience and persistence as we consciously step away from sin and towards right action.
We will never be perfect, but there's no greater and more worthwhile pursuit.
God also revealed to me that He delivered this dream through Theresa, which means "to harvest" in Greek, confirmation that God is harvesting souls through koinonia with Him.
My Personal Experience
Since beginning my journey in earnest, I have experienced over 700 prophetic encounters, all of which I have written down and am busy working my way through.
I gracefully and gratefully accepted God's invitation into koinonia with Him and I long to know the whisperings of His heart.
I eagerly and actively choose to spend more time with Him, as I get to know Him better and come into greater alignment with His will, both for me, and for humanity as a whole.
The instant I made the decision to step in fully, I felt invigorated and filled with passion and excitement about the road ahead!
A stark contrast to the period of intense heaviness that preceded.
Walking In Faith
For a moment, I wondered how I would make money, but I have been walking in faith for over 10 years and God has been providing for me in the most unimaginable and unprecedented ways.
I have never gone without and have always had whatever I needed, no matter the amount, size or complexity of the request.
Since accepting God's invitation, ideas have come to me thick and fast and my community is building easily and effortlessly as the doors are opened.
I can begin to see the infinite ways that God is bringing all my unique gifts, passions and experience together in a divine crescendo and symphony of love, life and life-long learning.
My yoke is easy and my burden is light and what God opens no man can shut and vice versa.
Coming Into Agreement & Alignment
When we come into agreement with God's will for us, all that we ask is given.
And as we rise and shine with the radiance of God's glory, His Shekinah, His countenance turns towards us.
The mantle and the anointing that goes with this is a divine gift from the Holy of Holies, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
We must take up our mantle and step into our anointing, breaking all strongholds and asking God to create within us a perfect heart.
As we begin again, as a new creation, we light the way for others, so that they too can arise and shine.
God Loves Us!!!
God loves us!!!
He is drawing us closer...
He wants to redeem us, that we might receive adoption to sonship.
Because we are His sons (and daughters), God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father."
So we are no longer a slave, but God's child; and since we are His child, God has made us also an heir (Galatians 4:1-7).
Returning The Glory To The Sender
Everything we do, everything we are and everything we have, is a blessing and a gift from God.
It is therefore only fitting that all the glory and gratitude is returned to the Source from where it came.
To God.
For we are made whole and holy in Him and wholly for Him.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all (2 Corinthians 13:14).
