Prophetic Dream - 21st July 2024
Just before I woke up, when I was in between a dream and a waking, I saw 4 horns followed by a large crown and a smaller crown.
Initially, I didn't want to write this down as I was troubled in my spirit, intuiting that it was related to the horns of the beast in Revelation, and I felt a sense of dread.
Eventually, I plucked up the courage to research the meaning of the 4 horns and I was amazed at what I discovered, as is always the case with God, who is for us, not against us!
The 4 horns are part of a vision that God gave to His prophet Zechariah. They are preceded by a call to return to the LORD and followed by mercy, evil being overthrown, restoration, the return of righteousness and the returning of the LORD.
This dream came 8 days after a 20-year-old gunman attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on July 13th and the same day that Biden stepped aside as the Democratic Party's nominee in the presidential race.
Unprecedented Times
We are living in and through unusual and unprecedented times, where corruption has reached an all-time high, times that many feel to be biblical.
Not only are we living in unprecedented times, but also in un-Presidented times, and this is a clear reflection of the power that we have handed over to man and not God, as a result of our ignorance, foolishness and total and utter disregard for truth.
To the untrained eye, it seems that unelected, self-appointed "leaders" are running the show, but the true writer of the story is and always will be God, and He will decide what happens next.
Throughout the bible, the prophets have been key to political events and the running of the nations, they have a critical role to play and their intercession and revelation has always stolen the show.
God will always have the final say, and anyone that comes against what is good and right comes against God Himself, and woe to anyone who is an enemy of the LORD!
A Call To Return To The LORD
The LORD was very angry with Israel's ancestors and told Zechariah to tell the people to return to Him and He would return to them.
They must not be like their ancestors who would not listen or pay attention to God, as His words and decrees overtook them.
Then they repented as the LORD Almighty had done to them what their evil ways and practices deserved (Zechariah 1:2-6).
The call to return to the LORD has never been stronger, we no longer know where true north is, and consequently, we are falling into ruin.
We must remember our Creator, the Glorious One who made us and formed us in the womb (Isaiah 44:2) and who's breath gives us life (Job 33:4), and we must remember the terms of the covenant, to keep His decrees and commands, so that it may go well with us and our children (Deuteronomy 4:40).
We Have Fallen Away
We have fallen away from the vine that gives us life and we have forgotten where we came from and who God is.
Forgetting that God is the Source of all of our blessings and the reason for our existence, we don't see the need for Him and our giant egos have edged God out.
In our ignorant intelligence, we have reduced God down to nothing more than a conspiracy theory and overthrown He who made the earth by His power, founded the world by His wisdom and stretched out the heavens by His understanding (Jeremiah 10:12).
Our necrotic narcissism and endless hedonistic pursuits is creating a vortex of victimhood and our idol worship of both ourselves and our own creations are leading us down a very dark path.
In God's extreme mercy and grace, He sees our weaknesses and holds out His long-suffering hand, imploring us to take it.
Resting On Our Laurels
Then Zechariah had a vision, and there before him was a man mounted on a red horse.
He was standing among the myrtle trees in a ravine and behind him were red, brown and white horses.
An angel explained to him that the LORD had sent them to go throughout the earth, and they reported to him that they had found the whole world at rest and in peace (Zechariah 1:8-11).
We rest on our laurels in times of rest and peace, taking it easy and no longer putting in effort.
This results in over-indulging, laziness, not putting God first, back-sliding, sinning and allowing wickedness to take root by our failure to act as we stand idly by, resulting in wickedness steering the ship.
Beauty Through Difficulty
A myrtle tree is a member of the laurel family, it is an evergreen that produces beautiful blooms and is a symbol of the people of Israel that are under gentile persecution, but still cared for by God.
The beauty of the myrtle tree is born out of difficulty and it's blossoms are fragrant when crushed and used for medicines.
The myrtle smells sweet and looks pretty but has no taste, and is a reminder that actions without obedience to God's law are empty.
Times of peace and rest are a blessing from the LORD, they are not times to rest on our laurels, we must always be striving upwards, whilst being deeply rooted in intimacy with and service to God.
The myrtle is one of the 4 sacred plants used in the Feast of Tabernacles which is an observance of Israel's renewed fellowship with God, who must always be our focus and priority.
The LORD Returns With Mercy
Then the angel of the LORD asked God how long he would withhold mercy from Jerusalem and Judah, who He had been angry with for 70 years.
The LORD spoke kind and comforting words to the angel who talked with Zechariah and told him to proclaim that He is very jealous for Jerusalem and Zion and very angry with the nations that feel secure.
He was only a little angry, but they went too far with the punishment.
Therefore, the LORD said that He will return to Jerusalem with mercy, and there His house will be rebuilt.
His towns will again overflow with prosperity, and the LORD will again comfort Zion and choose Jerusalem (Zechariah 1:12-17).
Restoration Begins With The Rebuilding of God's House
God speaks to us in so many ways, in visions, in dreams, in whispers to our heart and nudges to our soul, but our attention is misdirected.
Instead of answering His calls, we send Him to voicemail and delete His messages to free up space.
All day long He holds out His hands to obstinate people, who walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations - people who continually provoke Him to His very face (Isaiah 65:2-3).
Restoration begins with the internal rebuilding of God's house, returning Him to His rightful place, Alpha and Omega, First and Last, Beginning and End and Sovereign over all.
Let us repent for our wicked and foolish ways, let us recognise and be redeemed by the truth and let us be restored, refined and revived.
The Four Horns & Four Craftsmen
Then Zechariah looked up, and there before him were 4 horns and the angel told him they were the horns that scattered Judah, Israel and Jerusalem.
Then the LORD showed Zechariah 4 craftsmen and told him that they were the horns that scattered Judah so that no-one could raise their head.
But the craftsman have come to terrify them and throw down those horns of the nations who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter its people (Zechariah 1:18-20).
Horns represent power in the form of kings, kingdoms and worldly empires (Daniel 7:24 & Revelation 17:12).
In present times, kings are those who have set themselves up as "leaders", those who have taken power by force, and elected leaders who have handed over their power to a higher authority.
The Horns Who Lifted Themselves Up Against God
Our society has fallen into a level of disrepute and disrepair that is akin to the days of Noah, which resulted in a catastrophic flood that wiped out humanity and all life, other than what God preserved.
The horns who lifted themselves up against God and His people, making them bow their heads under the weight of their yoke are about to experience a mighty fall that they are not expecting, having openly declared that God is dead and we have no need for Him.
Under their "leadership", many people lost their homes, jobs, businesses, life-savings, children, parents and even their own lives.
Protests are encouraged, the enemy is being funded, the propaganda machine is bearing false witness and testimony, divide and conquer is the aim and we are deeply grieving God.
To cap it all, demons take centre stage, demonic entities are affirmed, encouraged and welcomed, the truth and the lie have switched positions and a sick and sordid agenda of contamination, control and coercion has been allowed to take root.
The Kingdom That Will Fall
The system is rotting and stinking, a pack of rabid wolves are running the show and we cannot even breathe fresh air.
We are losing our children to the very people who are supposed to be protecting them, everything has been weaponised and demonised, God is nowhere to be seen in our schools, our homes and our hearts and His removal from our lives has left a grotesque stain on society and humanity.
We are unfit and overweight, our hands are tied behind our back, our mouths muzzled, our senses dulled and our prayers are made to worthless and lifeless idols, causing our rudderless and captain-less ship to sink.
We have got exactly what we deserve, but sadly, we have unwittingly gone so far down the rabbit hole that we can no longer get out. We have gone too far. We have sunk too deep. We failed to build our house on rock, we failed to secure our foundations and now, the quick sand has taken hold and we are being sucked in to the vacuum that we created in our failure to stop it when we had the chance.
A Return to Love
Our hollow and empty selves resemble holocaust survivors and meth addicts, we are unrecognisable and spiritually divorced from the spotless bride we are supposed to be and God's glory has departed.
Repentance is not a strong enough word, we need to get on our knees and BEG for forgiveness.
We need to prostrate ourselves low as we implore God to return to us, surrendering all and committing our entire being, body, mind and soul, from now until eternity, to Him and Him alone.
Let us purge everything that is not God from our being and make penance by putting first the only Source that is worthy as we return, with a truly rent heart, to righteousness.
Let us retrace our steps to seek out what we have lost and find what we have so expertly hidden from ourselves with a childlike curiosity and wide-eyed innocence so we can recapture our lost vigour and reclaim our inherent wisdom.
Returning to God
Let us let go of factory farmed fast food and fizzy pop and draw water from the foundation of life at no cost, feasting on pasture-reared spiritual meat that nourishes, nurtures and sustains us.
Let us regain our discipline, self-control and decency and eat from the fruits of the Spirit from the tree of life, that we may be satiated, strengthened and sharpened.
Let us be drenched in the warm rain of the LORD, let us enjoy the heat from under His shade and let us be surrounded by His hedge of protection.
Let us sit at His feet, bask in His radiant glow and look longingly into His eyes, whilst being held in His loving embrace.
Let us be cleansed by His Holy Spirit and purified and sanctified in His refiners fire so that we too may take our place amongst the saints, sharing the inheritance of our Father's estate.
4 Kingdoms Destroyed
4 kingdoms are also described in King Nebuchadnezzar's dream of 4 kingdoms of gold, silver, bronze and iron and clay, represented by an enormous dazzling statue (Daniel 2:31-33).
The fourth kingdom, strong as iron - for iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others. But it was partly or baked clay and partly of iron, so this will be a divided kingdom; partly strong and partly brittle, the people will be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay (Daniel 2:38-43).
While the King was watching, a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them.
Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were all broken to pieces and became like chaff on a threshing floor.
The wind swept them away without leaving a trace. But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth (Daniel 2:34-35).
The Kingdom That Will Never Be Destroyed
In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people.
It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever.
This is the meaning of the vision of the rock cut out of a mountain, but not by human hands - a rock that broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold to pieces (Daniel 2:44-45).
It feels that we are in the time of the fourth kingdom, Klaus Schwab, puppet master extraordinaire, calls this age the Fourth Industrial Revolution, but little does he know that this kingdom will fall!
God is the Rock, the Redeemer and the Righteous One, who will judge, remove and rule over everything that stands in the way of HIS plan, it would be wise to recoil, repent and return to the LORD before He brings everything down on their heads!
Interpretation of My Dream
The four horns of my dream are 4 unrighteous "leaders" who have raised themselves up against God and His people and who are bearing down on them so heavily that they cannot raise their head.
They were accompanied by a large crown and a smaller crown, the large crown belongs to God Himself, who is Sovereign over all, the smaller crown belongs to an earthly leader.
God then told me that HE would be the one to make America great again, which is exactly what He confirms to Zechariah when He said that He will return to Jerusalem with mercy, and there His house will be rebuilt.
His towns will again overflow with prosperity, and the LORD will again comfort Zion and choose Jerusalem (Zechariah 1:12-17).
The 4 craftsmen are no ordinary craftsman and will terrify and overthrow the 4 unrighteous "leaders" and their systems, root out wickedness, restore righteousness and God's people will return to His everlasting kingdom that will never be destroyed and He will live with us, and we with Him, once again.
The Power & Dominance of God Almighty!
None of us truly understand God's power, for if we did, we would never fear, not even for a moment.
God is ALL MIGHTY.
He is SOVEREIGN OVER ALL.
He is the ALPHA AND THE OMEGA, THE FIRST AND THE LAST, THE BEGINNING AND THE END.
God presides over everything and has us in the palm of His hand at every turn and will restore everything the enemy has stolen!
God Restores, Heals & Provides
God is Jehovah Rapha, the God who restores, Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides and Jehovah Nissi, the LORD is our banner.
Call to Him and He will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know (Jeremiah 33:3).
Though God has made us see troubles, many and bitter, He will restore our life again; from the depths of the earth He will again bring us up (Psalm 71:20).
If we return to the Almighty, we will be restored: If we remove wickedness far from our tent (Job 22:23).
Restore us to the joy of Your salvation and grant us a willing spirit, to sustain us (Psalm 51:12).
The City of Righteousness, The Faithful City
Restore us, O God; make Your face shine on us, that we may be saved (Psalm 80:3).
Restore us again, God our Saviour, and put away Your displeasure toward us (Psalm 85:4).
God will restore our leaders as in days of old, our rulers as at the beginning.
Afterward we will be called the City of Righteousness, the Faithful City (Isaiah 1:26).
God's people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; they will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings (Isaiah 58:12).
God Will Restore Everything
The LORD's temple will be restored (2 Chronicles 24:12), altars of the LORD will be restored (2 Chronicles 33:16), positions will be restored (Genesis 41:13) and prosperity will be restored (Job 8:6).
Walls will be restored (Ezra 4:13), cities will be restored (Numbers 21:27), fortunes will be restored (Deuteronomy 30:3, Job 42:10, Psalm 85:1), flesh will be restored (Job 33:25, 2 Kings 5:10), limbs will be restored (1 Kings 13:6) and health will be restored (Psalm 41:3, Isaiah 38:16).
Full well-being will be restored (Job 33:26), comfort will be restored (Isaiah 57:18), territory will be restored (1 Samuel 7:14), monuments will be restored (2 Samuel 8:3), land will be restored (2 Samuel 9:7, Isaiah 49:8) and the places long devastated will be restored (Isaiah 61:4).
Boundaries will be restored (2 Kings 14:25), kingdoms will be restored (2 Samuel 16:3), God's people will be restored (Psalm 14:7, Psalm 53:6), leaders will be restored (Isaiah 1:26) and covenant blessings will be restored (2 Samuel 16:12).
Sanity will be restored (Daniel 4:34), sight will be restored (Matthew 9:30), dominions will be restored (Micah 4:8), splendour will be restored (Nahum 2:2), salvation will be restored (Psalm 51:12), life itself will be restored (2 Kings 8:5) and God Himself will restore both us and all things (Acts 3:21, 1 Peter 5:10).
God Will Make His Enemies A Footstool!
God is righting the ship and Jesus sits at His right hand until He makes his enemies a footstool for his feet.
The LORD will extend his mighty sceptre from Zion, saying, "Rule in the midst of your enemies!"
His troops will be willing on his day of battle, arrayed in holy splendour, his young men will come to him like dew from the morning's womb.
The Lord is at his right hand; He will crush kings on the day of His wrath.
He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead and crushing the rulers of the whole earth (Psalm 110).
God's Plan Not Man's
Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are His.
He changes times and seasons; He deposes kings and raises up others.
He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Him (Daniel 2:20-22).
It is God's plan that succeeds, surpasses and sustains, not man's, and God's word, will and way is final.
Enemies of righteousness are enemies of the LORD and will be uprooted, overthrown and removed, and God will return to His people!
God Is Always With Us!
The man in the myrtle trees, the son of man coming with the clouds of heaven, God is always with us.
God is always in the midst of our striving and suffering, we need only to turn to Him.
God uses people and nations as a rod of discipline and correction, to return His sheep back to Himself.
We must not despise the LORD's discipline, and we must not resent His rebuke, because the LORD disciplines those He loves, as a father the son he delights in (Proverbs 3:11-12).
Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the LORD our God disciplines us (Deuteronomy 8:5).
The Horn of Salvation
God is the horn of our salvation (2 Samuel 22:3, Psalm 18:2).
We must be careful whose horn we are listening to, guarding our ears, eyes, lips, minds and hearts.
Are we listening to the prince of the power of the air (the enemy) or are we listening to God?
Are we listening to the doctrine of demons or are we listening to the God who saves?
God's sheep listen to His voice. He knows them and they follow him. He gives them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of His hand (John 10:27-30).
The LORD Is Our Shepherd
The LORD is our shepherd, we lack nothing.
He makes us lie down in green pastures, He leads us beside quiet waters, He refreshes our soul.
He guides us along the right paths for His name's sake. Even though we walk through the darkest valley, we will fear no evil, for God is with us; His rod and His staff, they comfort us.
He prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies. He anoints our head with oil; our cup overflows.
Surely, His goodness and love will follow us all the days of our life, and we will dwell in the house of the LORD forever (Psalm 23).
