Lust, Desire & Pleasure

Mankind has struggled with lust, desire and pleasure since the beginning of time, having lost all connection to our reason for being, resulting in an inability to function optimally.

With no real knowledge or understanding about the Source from where we came, why we were created and what our purpose is, we have very little chance of living a good and successful life.

We are in a time of mass information, mass hysteria and mass censorship and now, more than ever, we need answers to the most basic questions.

When it comes to gender and sexuality, we are being fooled on a deep and whole different level, as we are taken captive by ideologies that are built on lies, profit and at best, on sand.

Pronouns, preferences and preferential treatment are all mindless chatter in a world of distraction, disorder and dysfunction that urgently needs to metamorphose into deep seriousness and truth.

False Teachers

We have more information coming at us than ever before, yet we have less wisdom, discernment, knowledge and understanding, and this is a sad dichotomy.

People are buried in distraction, destruction and a dystopian struggle, doing everything they can to avoid the soul-level pain that is eating them from the inside out, unable to determine it's true cause, and causing them to grasp at anything that promises to take it away, no matter how shaky that promise is.

With no idea how to right the ship, we are drowning in the sea of misinformation, disinformation and malinformation, not realising that we are being pulled in deeper and placing our trust in all the wrong people, none of whom truly care for our soul.

Whether mistakenly false or inaccurate or deliberately crafted to destroy, the end result is the same, we are carried off on a wave of lies and find ourselves smashed into the rocks, broken and alone.

Once we have discovered that we have fallen into the enemy's trap, it's too late, we have lost everything, rather, we have handed it over on a silver platter whilst the devil licks his lips.

False Identification

For many, what we identify with becomes our sole purpose for being, we become fixated and anchored to a false sense of self, one that is based and formed in trauma, and our authentic self that is hidden beneath the surface, waiting to be uncovered and as yet unknown, lies dormant, hibernating and sleeping.

Identities change as we mature and neither we nor our identities are fixed, we evolve over time, hence why it's imperative to steer away from irreversible, irrevocable and life-altering decisions.

The car we drive, the clothes we wear, our home, our friends, our beliefs, all of these change with the passage of time, and who we are today will bear no resemblance to who we will be in 10 years.

We must not give the enemy a foothold by allowing him to get in through our places of trauma, shame, fear, ignorance, innocence, vulnerability, naivety and guilt.

The enemy's delusions are strong, he can convince us of anything if we let him, even though we know deep down that whatever he peddles is a con, we push it down because we have no other tools.

Man's Search For Meaning

We have been looking in all the wrong places, outside of ourselves, to those who are nothing more than false teachers and deceitful workers (2 Corinthians 11:13) and those who are drowning and have been lead astray themselves.

We have self-medicated our bleeding and gaping wounds with Netflix, social media, sex, drugs, alcohol, food, fun and work and become lovers of pleasure and lovers of our narcissistic selves instead of lovers of God.

In our desperation, we have unwittingly shared our innermost desires with the devil, together with our inheritance, dreams, self-confidence, self-esteem and self-worth, only to one day wake up and wonder what happened.

We have believed his lies that we are not good enough, born into the wrong body, ugly and unacceptable, both to the world and our selves, and have allowed him to destroy us from the inside out.

In our fruitless search for meaning, looking in all the wrong places, overly identifying with our self as opposed to loving God with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our mind (Matthew 22:37) and in this absence, trying to find meaning in things that are meaningless, and we have not only gotten lost, but disappeared off the radar completely, as we rack our brains trying to figure out the answer to life's age old questions, who am I and why am I here?

Made Perfect

Everything we were made with has a purpose, our breasts give life, nourishment, nurturing and comfort to our babies, our sex organs create life and every limb, nerve and connection in our body has a purpose that contributes to homeostasis, where the entire orchestra plays together in a symphony of perfection.

When we seek to change our gender or sexuality, and we go as far as taking physical steps to change our appearance and attributes, this is a grave path that can never end in happiness or fulfilment.

Surgery is brutal, despite the fact that only the benefits are touted and what you will be left with, or without, will be far worse than anything you struggled with in the first place, only in addition, mutilation, scars and a false representation of someone's idea of something that bears no resemblance to normal, resulting in neither attraction nor functionality, will be added to your woes.

The path to unrelenting pain, endless suffering, untold destruction and irreversible harm is made so easy now, with so-called "experts" convincing both themselves and others that they are providing life-affirming "care" when the truth is that they themselves have been lead astray and in turn, lead others down a fruitless and forbidden path of morbid fixation.

The enemies false promises can only ever come to nothing as it's physically, psychologically and physiologically impossible to fundamentally change who and what God created you to be; you cannot escape from, hide from or truly change yourself and real life-affirming care will teach you that you have been made perfect and you need only to look within for the answers.

Made Perfect In Weakness

In all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)

By trying to change what God created, through amputation or adaptation, because of the delusion caused by seeking false gods, turns God's glory into shame. (Psalm 4:2)

But God's grace is sufficient, for His power is made perfect in weakness and will rest on us (2 Corinthians 12:9) and what the enemy intends to harm us, God intends it for good to accomplish the saving of many lives. (Genesis 50:20)

We have to learn to renew our minds instead of our bodies, our bodies are merely a tool and a vehicle, perfectly designed to fulfil God's purpose, and attempting to change our gender or sexuality is not part of God's plan.

We are not to conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Then we will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2)

The Insignificance of Gender & Sexuality

Our gender and sexuality is merely a vehicle for us to fulfil the purpose that God intended for us, and seeking to change what God created us to be is not only futile, but misses the mark completely and deeply harms and robs both us and those around us.

Discovering and becoming at peace with who we are is a process that happens over time, some people feel awkward and uncomfortable until late into their 30's, 40's and even 50's and beyond, and that's normal.

Comfort, acceptance and eventually the embracing and celebration of who we are comes as a result of truth, discernment, knowledge, understanding, insight and wisdom, it is a journey.

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you (Matthew 7:7), for the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God are deep (Romans 11:33).

Our focus needs to shift so that our eyes are firmly fixed on God and His will for us, not in satisfying the self-centred, temporal and empty lusts of the flesh, for everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world (1 John 2:16).

Fix Your Eyes on God

It is critical that we fix our eyes on God, for He is the only compass that will steer us to safety; He is our true north and the only reason and purpose for our being.

The loss of God in our lives is creating immense conflict, untold misery and a relentless search for meaning in all the wrong places, and at the end of it all, the massive empty hole that this creates can only be filled by Him.

The delusions we feel by straying from God's decrees come to nothing (Psalm 119:118) and so it makes sense to look deeper before taking radical action that we will undoubtedly come to one day regret and seek or wish to reverse.

Unfortunately, in our desperation and insistence on bypassing God or out of the ignorance that God is the true Expert, the "experts" that are being consulted and trusted are false prophets who are prophesying lies, false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own mind in God's name, He has not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. (Jeremiah 14:14).

We must keep our eyes firmly fixed on God looking only to Him, and if we don't know Him, we must make this our primary concern.

The Significance of Gender & Sexuality

God created mankind in his own image, male and female (Genesis 1:27 & 5:2) and God Himself is both masculine and feminine.

Therefore, in addition to there being two genders, male and female, we each, like God, have both male and female attributes.Jesus had the 7 Spirits of God resting upon him which included the the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding (Isaiah 11:1-3), and whilst God is always referred to in the masculine, wisdom and understanding are referred to as her and she throughout Psalm 8.

God also describes Himself in multiple feminine roles as a hen who gathers her chicks under her wings (Matthew 23:37), nursing us at royal breasts (Isaiah 60:16) and as a mother comforts her child, so He will comfort us (Isaiah 66:13).

We, like God, are multi-faceted, and rather than seek to change the body that we were born with, we must come to a place of realisation, integration and ultimately, transcendence.

God Is No Longer In Fashion

Wisdom calls out but we refuse to listen, she stretches out her hand and we pay no attention, we disregard all her advice and do not accept her rebuke, so disaster strikes and calamity overtakes like a storm (Proverbs 1:20-27).

Instead of the long way that draws blood, sweat and tears, we want quick fixes, fads, fast tracks, short cuts and hacks, and the cost of our egocentric aggrandisement, sense of entitlement and abject laziness is a growing dissatisfaction, inner emptiness and bottomless pit that nothing can fill.

There are no "experts" on our innermost soul and private thoughts, we must search our own mind and heart, for this is where God put and wrote His law (Jeremiah 31:33).

We are told that God is nothing more than a myth, the false imaginings of what people want to be true, and that even if He did exist, he's no longer relevant and we can live without Him.

God is no longer in fashion and people are under the false impression that they are gods! And all of this has left a deep hole in the soul, leaving people empty, rudderless, naked and afraid.

Reconnection At The Deepest Level

We have become disconnected at the deepest level from the Source from where we came and closed our ears, minds and hearts to the truth, exchanging the truth for a lie.

For many this has been a deliberate choice, but for most, the thought of God, angels and demons is just too fantastical, fanatical and unfathomable to even begin to comprehend and we have decided it can't be true without even looking into the possibility.

Instead, we have worshipped at the feet of the idols of man, medicine, money, mass media, propaganda and hysteria, movie stars and celebrities and anything and everything but the Creator of all things, God Himself.

In doing so, we have allowed the enemy to take root and he has raided and rotted our inner sanctuary, leaving us destitute and dead in our transgressions (Ephesians 2:1); we are standing in the dock of the Supreme Court, the gavel is coming down and we are guilty as charged.

The only anti-dote is to reconnect with God, recognise the truth, repent for our error and realign ourselves with the only Source who is able to steer us to safe harbour.

The Case For God

Most people who say they believe in God don't really, their belief is based on a very loose understanding that there is something out there they don't quite understand, that they haven't spent any real time finding out about.

Everything we need to know about life, the after-life and the spiritual realm is contained in the bible, but you can't read the bible as such, the bible is revealed to those who ask, knock and seek, and it's a lifelong practice and glorious adventure.

God is the Creator, he owns everything, and he is three parts, God the Father, God the Son (Jesus - the incarnation of God on earth) & God the Holy Spirit, it's similar to how we can be a mother or father, son or daughter, and also a friend, all at the same time.

Life with God is a supernatural experience that is difficult to define and that can only be experienced to truly understand.

Ultimately, God's power is channeled through us, through revelation, dreams, visions, insights and encounters, and what we can achieve without Him, pales into insignificance when compared to what we can achieve with Him, and it is remiss to ignore this critical area of wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

The Devil Has Powers Too

The devil has powers too and he uses all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie (2 Thessalonians 2:9), bringing great riches and the illusion of success.

The difference however is that success with God is built on rock, as God is the Rock, whereas "success" with the devil is built on sand and will inevitably wash away.

Many people unknowingly and unwittingly get into bed with the devil and bearing in mind that satan is the father of lies (John 8:44), it's easy for them to be deceived, but this is a dangerous game that results in destruction.

Even the demons believe that there is one God - and shudder (James 2:19).

Satan is not a worthy master to follow and no good can come from it, as when the the lawless one will be revealed, Jesus will overthrow him with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendour of his coming (2 Thessalonians 2:8).

The First Sin

Let us go back to the very beginning for answers, as the bible is a remarkable and barely known source of all knowledge, understanding and wisdom.

God told Adam that he was free to eat from any tree in the garden except from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when he eats from it, he will certainly die (Genesis 2:15-17).

Now the serpent, who was more crafty than any of the wild animals that God had made, told Eve that she would not die and that her eyes would be opened and she would be like God.

When Eve saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it and also gave some to Adam, and he ate it.

Their eyes were opened and they realised they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves (Genesis 3:1-7).

Physical & Spiritual Nakedness

Adam and Eve were free to eat from any tree in the garden except one, and that tree was there because they had a personal choice, to obey or disobey God's command.

Despite God's clear instructions, Eve believed the serpent's lie that they would not die and tempted by the desire to be like God and gain wisdom, she was lured into the serpent's trap.

No longer pure, Adam and Eve had disobeyed God, they were afraid because of their nakedness and they hid from him (Genesis 3:8-10).

Their realisation of their nakedness is deep.

Before their sin, they were both naked and felt no shame (Genesis 2:25). Now, they were not only physically naked, but also spiritually naked, having become aware that God would know what they had done and the consequences that followed.
